San Francisco SF 49ers Super Bowl XXIX 29 GAME USED Football Young Autographed
This is an incredible chance to add one of the most desired San Francisco 49ers items available. This ball has been in my personal collection since 1995, it's time for someone else to enjoy i t. This is an incredible addition to any true 49ers fan's collection, and an absolute item they do not have yet. This ball was used in Super Bowl XXIX between the San Francisco 49ers and the San Diego Chargers on January 29th 1995, the last time the San Francisco 49ers won (49-26) the Super Bowl.
To think you can watch the game and know that this exact ball was in play is amazing to think about. One thing we do know is this ball was not involved with the opening kickoff of either half, nor the last play of the game (all those balls went to the Hall of Fame). This ball was signed by Steve Young in the locker room after the game with the added MVP inscription. This ball was acquired from a former high level executive from Scoreboard (at the time the biggest sports memorabilia company in the the US) when I lived in Cherry Hill, NJ.
The ball also comes with a letter of authenticity from the 49ers. It's a little hard to tell in the photos, but the letterhead is both raised and has the raised Super Bowl trophies on the paper in the lower left corner of the letter. I've done over a dozen public and private autograph signings with Steve over the years so I can also absolutely guarantee authenticity of the signature as well as 100% guarantee this will pass any 3rd party authentication for both the signature and the ball.
