For your consideration is this custom RT2 Style suspension Football Helmet, painted red with silver center stripe of the 1954 San Francisco 49ers. This beautiful helmet was built with lucite facemask and custom brown metal "handle" mounted just as 49ers equipment managers added to Mr. Tittle's helmet in 1954 after an injury to Mr. Tittle necessitated this interesting innovative protection.
