RK2 Style Suspension Football Helmet San Francisco 49ers John Brodie

For your consideration is this recently manufactured RK2 style helmet, with iconic double bar BD-9 style facemask and gray two tone chin strap. Helmet is a true one of a kind custom helmet made to replicate the helmet worn by San Francisco 49ers All-Time Great and Fan favorite, quarterback John Brodie.

Helmet shell is painted gold as the 49ers used for over a decade beginning during the mid 1960s. Add thin mil iconic SF decals and appropriate size striping as the team wore, and you have a stunning collectible. To make this amazing specimen more authentic we have added authentic and vintage Dymo tape with Brodie's name and number inside the helmet just like equipment managers might have put there for identification purposes. A classic step back in time! The classic shape of the RK's slightly flared shell and handsome metal rivets are complemented by the attachment of a two bar quarterback style facemask.

These helmets are recently manufactured and are the same size as those worn during the 1960s. The adult size 7 3/8 suspension webbing is identical to the original right down to the same brown thread that was used to stitch it together. Add in real leather jaw pads, gray toned strap makes this helmet early indistinguishable from the original. They are painted gray inside just as the Riddell vintage originals from the 1960's.
