Original Vintage Wilson Football Helmet Size 7 1/4 San Francisco 49ers Krueger

For your consideration is this rare original and vintage WIlson football helmet from the 1960s with a complete set of padding. This beauty has been customized to represent the helmet worn by All-Time great Charlie Krueger as shown in the photos by painting it 49ers Champagne gold and adding a 2-bar facemask. We then added iconic 49ers "SF"decals appropriately placed on the sides. As many folks are aware, the 49ers are one of the few teams which used Wilson helmets during this period of the 1960s. PLEASE READ- This is truly a custom one of a kind helmet and was built to represent a game worn helmet of the team shown. However, if you want an affordable vintage helmet which will display nicely, this is your helmet! This helmet was built by lightly sanding the outside and cleaning the inside before painting the outside of the shell. It has flaws just like the helmets worn during the 1960s, but will display nicely. These were built to put on the shelf or mantle and enjoy discussions about the golden era of football!

The padding is still nice and pliable and by itself is worth the asking price.
